Bioeconomy – innovation of life

Bioeconomy is this part of the economy that produces and uses renewable biological resources for food, feed, materials and energy. Fish, forests, plants, animals – all the familiar and essential things for us.

Why is it so crucial for us to convert more of our current economic practices to bio-based economies? Why should we innovate our way of living?
